Congratulations!

SJCS is happy and excited to announce that our amazing volunteers Elaine and Harvey Bloom of Merrimack, NH were selected as the Older Adult Volunteer Winners for Hillsborough County.

Each May, during Older Americans Month, the Commission on Aging recognizes individuals or couples age 60 or older from each of New Hampshire’s ten counties for their outstanding volunteer efforts on behalf of older adults and others in their communities.

The award is so well- deserved by this selfless couple! Elaine has been volunteering as a Meals on Wheels Driver for 22 years, her husband, Harvey, for 12 years. Together they are a powerhouse volunteer couple! And they have been successful in enlisting others to join the MOW driver ranks.

They are real treasures to our organization and we are honored and thankful that they have given so much to SJCS and their community for so many years!
